Website Update

My website is back up and fully functional.  As a few of you noticed it was up and down this weekend.  With all the rain this weekend, I thought I’d take the time to get my landscape galleries updated and add a few new images.

Friday night/morning at about 2:30 I got the bright idea I was going to update the code on my website…Not one of my better decisions.  Word to the wise:  Don’t update code in the middle of the night!  You’ll regret it!

So a day and a half later, I think I have everything put back together and a few updates to my landscape gallery.  Enjoy.

Sunny Phoenix

Heather and I are enjoying ourselves in sunny Phoenix, Arizona.  We’re attending a photography conference and getting lots of exciting ideas for our 2009 sessions.

Sounds like we also picked a convenient week to be out of town…We’re missing all the snow, ice, and blizzard conditions everyone is getting back home!  I have a feeling stepping off the plane in Des Moines later this week will be quite a system shock!

Studio News

Do you know how difficult family portraits are when you’re the photographer?  To say they’re a challenge would be an understatement.  I like to pretend I’m in charge and have the situation under control, but in all reality, Noah runs the show, and he knows it!  While he can’t quite lift my camera yet, he’s absolutely fascinated with the all of the buttons.  Especially the ones that set off the strobes!  Thank goodness for friends who know their way around a camera!  If not for their help, I’m sure Heather and I would still be working on the family portrait for our Christmas cards in July!

We finally got our flooring project finished.  (Well, almost…there’s always something else that needs done, but we have the bulk of it done and the studio is fully functional again.  Whew!)

We’ve been busy the past few weeks.  It’s crunch time, as we’re polishing off the Christmas cards.  Below are a few of them:
