Beautiful light and a solitary orca came over to check me out. On the surface they don't pay much attention, but if you dive down 10-20 feet sometimes you'll get lucky and they'll come over to check you out. They're very curious. This was a perfect morning with light, but the orcas were proving elusive and didn't want to give us the time of day. Top side we had rain, storm light, and rainbows. A pod of orcas passed by pretty far out. I dove down and was rewarded with a curious orca that came over to check me out as the storm light above reached into the depths.
