Dawn on the horizon, Big Sable Point in the distance, and an amazing light show to kick off a beautiful morning.
Both of these images were taken as a storm dissipated over the shores of Lake Michigan this past summer. Took my family camping for a long weekend and managed to sneak away for a sunrise. The light on this morning was absolutely stunning. I was holding my breath and my hands were literally shaking as I took these shots. So few are sunrises this spectacular that I was praying I got everything right in those few pivotal moments before the color winked out.
